Karimganj: Altogether 30 Bangladeshis, who had allegedly illegally entered Indian territory, were deported to their country through the Karimganj border on Thursday, official sources here said.
These people, including two women, were lodged in various detention camps of the state after they were declared illegal foreigners.
They were handed over to the police and border guards of the neighbouring country, the sources said.
The Bangladeshi nationals had been apprehended from various parts of Assam at different times after they had entered India without valid travel documents.
