A resolution approved in the meeting of the Rajasthan Congress Legislature Party had it that strict action would be taken against any Congress MLA who weakened the party.
Notably, even after the release of a whip, Sachin Pilot did not attend the party meeting at CM Ashok Gehlot’s residence.
At a press conference, Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said that the party requests all the MLAs including Sachin Pilot to hold discussions if they have any problems with the party.
The two stances sound inherently contrary.
