On Wednesday, West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee alleged that ‘four-five people’ pushed her during the election campaign in Nandigram, causing her to fall to the ground and resulting in injuries. Banerjee is undergoing treatment at Kolkata’s SSKM Hospital. According to doctors, her left leg, waist, shoulder and neck have been injured. Doctors treating Banerjee on Thursday afternoon said that the amount of sodium in her blood was found to be low.
They’ve said that the chief minister will have to be kept under strict medical supervision for some time. Besides, She also has injuries to her left shoulder, wrist and neck. Banerjee’s condition is now stable, but there is a complaint of severe pain in her injured left leg.
