Sharad and Ajit Pawar Allying For ‘Fevicol Deal’ With BJP?

A new formula is in development to maintain the unity of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) despite internal divisions. Deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar is spearheading efforts to find a solution that can accommodate the faction of the party aligned with its founder, Sharad Pawar, even though they hold only a small number of seats in the assembly. This shocking news came after the New Indian Express reported on it.

The faction led by Sharad appears to have accepted that Ajit wields significant influence, and given Sharad’s advancing age, it may not be feasible for him to engage in a prolonged confrontation with his ambitious nephew.

As part of the proposed agreement, they are considering placing Sharad’s daughter, Supriya Sule, at the national level, while also seeking an appropriate position in the Maharashtra Cabinet for Jayant Patil, the state president of the parent NCP.
