Podcast: Adityanath Could Do to Modi, Shah What They Did to L.K. Advani

In conversation with political scientist Dr Suhas Palshikar.

Dr Suhas Palshikar is one of India’s most pre-eminent political scientists. An academic and long-term observer of the Indian political scene, Palshikar is a regular commentator in the media on the subject.

In a podcast interview with Sidharth Bhatia, Palshikar analyses the current scenario in the country, and emphasises the importance of the forthcoming Uttar Pradesh elections. The results could catalyse many political developments, including the strategies of the opposition and regional parties and even internal developments in the BJP. He stresses Yogi Adityanath’s long-term ambitions and his uncaring approach towards constitutional niceties.

Palshikar says the BJP has not taken kindly to its loss in West Bengal and says the party is still worried about Rahul Gandhi.
