Guwahati: Flood affected Assam found some of the most innovative ways to celebrate Independence Day with scarcity of land owing to flood across the length and breadth of Assam. More than 31 lakh people have been affected in 25 districts of Assam, according to the latest reports.
From rooftops to boats, to standing submersed in the water, people have braved it all to celebrate the Independence Day.
