With just a few days left for the April 11 assembly and parliamentary polls in the state, Sikkim is witnessing rampant electioneering. A number of regional parties are taking on the Sikkim Democratic Front or SDF in these elections to end its 25-year rule.
While the main opposition, Sikkim Krantikari Morcha or SKM is going alone after a failed attempt by the BJP to forge an alliance with it, four other parties have formed an alliance together.
