Podcast: Future Generations Will Never Forgive Us If We Allow India to Become Like Nazi Germany

Mander talks about what he saw during the Karwan-e-Mohabbat, and how the middle-classes have completely bought into the communal narrative.

Harsh Mander, former IAS officer who is now a peace and social justice activist, has been an unceasing critic of the growing communal atmosphere in the country. He led the Karwan-e-Mohabbat, a journey around India for atonement of the many instances of violence against minorities.

In this podcast interview with Sidharth Bhatia, Mander talks about what he saw, and how the middle-classes have completely bought into the communal narrative. He sees the lynchings and laws against so-called ‘love jihad’ as part of a long-term plan. “The social project of marginalising of minorities has been achieved,” he says; now the legal processes are being put into place.
