In this UnPanel session, Smriti Parsheera, a research fellow at the Interledger Foundation, examines the act of loitering, leisure, and occupying public spaces amidst the growing presence of surveillance — including a million CCTV cameras, unlawful searches and seizures of digital devices, and aggressive urban monitoring.
