The political tug of war continues in Puducherry, where four MLAs of the Congress government left the party. On the other hand, Kiran Bedi was removed from the post of Lieutenant Governor. Her removal was seen as arbitrary. Until a new appointment is made, the governor of Telangana, Tamilisai Soundararajan, has been given additional charge.
