‘Correct Scenes, Costumes’: MP Home Minister Now Hits Out at Deepika Padukone Over Music Video

Commenting on a recently released song, Narottam Mishra also said, “Deepika Padukone has been a supporter of the ‘tukde tukde gang’ as seen in the JNU case.”

New Delhi: Madhya Pradesh home minister Narottam Mishra on Wednesday, December 14, said that the costume worn by Deepika Padukone in a song released recently was “highly objectionable” and that if the scenes are not “corrected” then the film may not be allowed to be released in the state.

He said it was clearly visible that this song was filmed out of a “contaminated mentality”.

“I would request to correct the scenes and her costumes, otherwise whether this film should be allowed in Madhya Pradesh or not will be a question to be considered,” Mishra told reporters in Mhow in Indore district.
