Every Indian child has grown up listening to stories from the Mahabharat. No one knows who wrote it or when it was written and there are thousands of interpretations of the epic. Now Professor G.N. Devy, the linguist and activist, has written his version.
“My Mahabharat is political, there are no two ways about it,” he says in this podcast interview with Sidharth Bhatia. “My idea is to explore the concept of the nation and see if it links with the nationalism of today.”
