Ink Revolution: Artist Sketches Young India’s Voices of Resistance

In this series, artist Pariplab Chakraborty brings alive the collective anger of the young population who took to streets to protest education and employment crisis in the country.

Yesterday, on February 7, thousands of young men and women from all over the country marched from Red Fort to the Parliament street to protest the ongoing employment crisis and privatisation and saffronisation of educational institutions. As they marched along the route shouting Inquilab Zindabad and Halla Bol, Delhi-based artist Pariplab Chakraborty captured their anger and distress in these sketches.
