New Delhi: The deadline to submit entries for the RedInk Awards for the 2020 calender year has been extended until October 31, the organising committee has said.
The awards could not be held last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic and will be held entirely online through Facebook for the first time. “In all other respects, including the rigour of judging/selection and the quantum of prize money, the Awards will follow the model of previous years,” the committee said in a press release.
The RedInk Awards for Excellence in Journalism, organised by the Mumbai Press Club, are in its 10th year now. They are the only set of awards that extend peer recognition, backed by a wide spectrum of stakeholders, sponsors and participants.
The awards were instituted in 2011 to promote best practices among journalists and encourage good quality writing, fair play and high ethical standards. They cover all formats including print, digital and television across 12 categories.
Entries must be sent by October 31, 2021 to redinkawards@pressclubmumbai.com. All entries should have been published or broadcast in the calendar year 2020.
