In the first edition of LiveWire Offline, The Wire‘s younger sibling took the discussion offline with activist Shehla Rashid in New Delhi on October 15.
During an informal chat with LiveWire‘s editor Aleesha Matharu, Rashid opened up about the situation in Kashmir – reports from the Valley are still scarce – just one day after returning from Srinagar.
She also spoke about quitting electoral politics and why India needs a new progressive alternative, her life growing up in Srinagar, the infamous 2016 Jawaharlal Nehru University incident and on dealing with being trolled.
Watch the full interview to hear Rashid talk about Kashmir, Article 370, rights, education, politics, Netflix and more.
